Sheila Cooney

Sheila is Managing Partner of Patrick Tallan & Co. She practices in contentious litigation and her areas include debt recovery, personal injury litigation, family law and local government issues.

Sheila graduated from UCD with a BCL in 1975 and was admitted to practice in that year. She joined Patrick Tallan & Company in 1977 following four years experience in a large Dublin firm. She became Managing Partner of both offices in 1990.

Padraic Brady

Padraic is a Partner in our firm's litigation and dispute resolution department. He specialises in personal injury litigation and has acted for numerous insurance companies throughout the years. Padraic also has extensive knowledge of local government work.

Padraic graduated at University College Dublin and was admitted to practice in 1978. He joined Patrick Tallan & Company in 1983 having spent time in law offices in Cork and Cavan.

Deirdre Moran

Deridre is a Partner in our private client department and has experience in most areas of law in particular commercial and residential conveyancing, family law,debt collection and local government law.

Deirdre graduated from University College Dublin with an in History in 1985. She was admitted into practice in 1993 and commenced working at Patrick Tallan & Company in 1994. She was made a partner in 2007.

Stephen Cooney

Stephen has a wide experience in commercial property transactions, business law criminal & road traffic offences, and employment law. He spent 5 years working with one of Irelands leading corporate law firms. Stephen also regularly attends the local district court representing clients before the court in criminal and road traffic offences.

Stephen graduated with a law degree from University College Dublin in 2003 having spent a year on an international exchange program at University of Minnesota, USA. He was admitted into practice in 2007 and joined Patrick Tallan & Company in 2010.

Julie Lynch - Legal Executive

Julie co-ordinates all areas of the Local Government Practice and is experienced in Conveyancing and Family Law. Julie joined Patrick Tallan & Company in 2009.

Julie was previously employed by Matheson Ormsby Prentice as a Legal Executive in the New Homes Group of the Commercial Conveyancing Department.

Nora Collier - Legal Executive

Nora has been with Patrick Tallan & Company Drogheda for over 20 years. Nora's experience is mainly in Probate and Conveyancing.

Nora leads our probate department and is experienced in both probate and conveyancing matters.
